                   Fabulously Vintage

There is something timelessly elegant about bridal fashion. It evokes a sense of nostalgia, transporting us to a simpler time, contrasting the fast-paced rhythm of today's world. Whether it's a vintage gown from another era or a modern design inspired by today's trends, bridal fashion awakens a heartfelt joy—capturing the essence of the happiness every young woman dreams of on her special day.

This passion inspired me to open my beautiful dress shop and bridal boutique in the charming town of Waterford. The town itself reflects that same sense of simplicity and warmth, just as my boutique does—from the genuine welcome at the door to the friendly, pressure-free service and the carefully curated selection of vintage, modern gowns and accessories. This unique atmosphere has made my boutique a destination for brides seeking both classic and contemporary styles for their big day.

As life evolved for my family and me, we found ourselves in the lovely town of Tillsonburg, Ontario. Wishing to share this experience with even more brides, I am delighted to announce the opening of a second location in Tillsonburg. My goal remains the same: to offer warm, personalized service without pressure—where every bride leaves with a smile,  because when my brides smile, I smile.

Before pursuing my dream of owning a bridal boutique, I spent over 18 years serving and caring for people as a paramedic. Opening my shop during the challenges of a global pandemic became a reminder of life's beauty and resilience. It has been an incredible journey, filled with the joy of meeting new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, and forming lasting friendships along the way.

My boutiques bring me more joy than I could have ever imagined. Witnessing the elegance and radiance of women as they see themselves in our gowns—the way they sparkle, the way they feel beautiful and confident—this is the magic I strive to create every single day.

Life is beautiful—dress for it.

In all my years, I never imagined I’d find myself drawn into the wedding world.

My introduction to the industry began when Leslie followed her dream of creating SixPence & Sage. From her vision, I had the privilege of helping bring the Waterford boutique to life, building the space and watching it grow into something truly special.

After spending over 30 years as a paramedic, I’ve seen people on some of the hardest days of their lives. Now, I find myself surrounded by people on some of the happiest days leading up to one of the most beautiful and meaningful milestones—their wedding day. It’s been a dramatic contrast, and one that has truly shifted my outlook on life.

As someone who has always been on the side of helping others, I’ve also experienced life from the other side—I am a pancreatic cancer survivor. During that incredibly difficult journey, I was embraced by the compassion of the wedding industry community. Fellow vendors and professionals continually asked how I was doing, supported me in ways big and small, and even made sure I had a comfortable chair to sit in when I needed it.

Those small acts of kindness meant the world to me. They reminded me how powerful it is to be part of a community built on joy, support, and human connection.

Now, I feel honoured to give back—to help couples on their journey toward one of the most memorable days of their lives, and to walk alongside fellow wedding professionals as part of a truly caring and uplifting community.

This journey has become about more than business—it’s a journey of kindness, happiness, and heart. And I’m incredibly proud to be a part of it.

Dress sharp-Live fully.
